Credit Shield is an insurance program that allows AAIB credit cardholders to claim double the outstanding credit card balance, capped at a maximum of EGP 500,000, in the event of death, total permanent disability, or critical illness.

Enrolled cardholders will be charged a monthly fee with a percentage of 0.24% (Maximum 1,000 EGP monthly) from their monthly closing balance

Cardholders have the right to opt-out of the service anytime by submitting request through call AAIB call center 19555

Cardholder’s age should be less than 70 years old in case of death or total permanent disability, and less than 65 years old for the critical illness at the date of enrollment

Only primary cardholders are eligible for the credit shield service
